Hostel Helvetia

For every sophisticated traveler, for groups of mates or ones traveling alone.

44 spots in colorful rooms:

• Eight-bed co-ed dormitory (bunk beds)
• Two six-bed co-ed dormitories (bunk beds)
• One three-bed female dormitory
• One triple private room
• Five double private rooms
• Two double private room with bathroom en-suite
• Family room (up to 4 guests) with private bathroom

Linen is included in the price of every bed. Towels included only in the private rooms with bathrooms. In every other room we can rent them for 4 PLN. Breakfast (milk, cereal, bread, ham, cheese, butter, jam, coffee, tea) is included in the price of room.
In every dormitory we provide a padlock-secured locker for every guest. We require a 20 PLN deposit for the padlock, which we then return upon check-out.

Common room and kitchen

You can hang out here, chat, eat a meal prepared in the kitchen or the breakfast served by our staff. We have a computer hooked to the Internet, WiFi, satellite TV, DVD, guides and photo albums about Warsaw. Cooking aficionados can use our fully equipped kitchen, its fridge, induction heating, microwave, coffee machine, every available pot and piece of cutlery. Tea and coffee is available 24 hours a day.
Attention: Hostel Helvetia is a strictly SMOKE-FREE environment. Smokers are welcomed to ease their urges in the specially determined places.

Reception

YES! We work 24 hours a day, which means you can come back to the Hostel any time you like. Our staff speaks Polish and English, often Spanish and sometimes Italian or German. We are glad to give you all the touristy and club-ish info that you might need, we can help you book a hostel in other cities, we sell every little thing useful to travelers, we provide laundry service. We’ve got a free vault and a luggage storage room. Those who come on bikes will find a warm and secure spot for their wheels. For those who would like to see Warsaw from a saddle we provide bike rental. We can burn all your precious digital photos on a CD. If you would like to call your aunty on the other side of the globe, you can do it here - cheaper then at home – we offer bargain call through Skype-out.

Bathrooms

They’re worth mentioning, because for the 44 beds we provide 12 of them! It gives us an average ratio of 3,6667 person per shower and guarantees a chance to have a quick wash without having to queue or start a riot. We’re probably the most “showery” hostel in the whole world.

Check-in and check-out

The check-in time in is 15:00, but if you’re early, check in anyway. The receptionist will make sure that your room is prepared as soon as possible. Usually it’s feasible around 12:00. You can always leave your luggage in the free storage and have a coffee in one of the nearby cafés. The check-out time is 11:00.
