Regulations
  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
    The Rules and Regulations specify the rules for the provision of services and are an integral part of the contract, which is concluded by ma-king a reservation, signing a registration card or paying an advance payment or the entire fee for the stay. By doing so, the Guest confirms that he or she has read and accepts the provisions of Rules and Regulations.Rules and Regulations apply to all persons staying in Hostelu Helvetia. Responsibility for these persons rests with the person signed on the registration card, called in these Rules and Regulations a Guest or Checked-In Person.Rules and Regulations are available at the Reception.
  2. BOOKING CONDITIONS
    Booking of the apartment can be made by the Guest: directly at the telephone number +48 22 826 71 08 , by e-mail to info@hostel-helvetia.pl, on the website http://www.hostel-helvetia.pl/, personally at the Reception Hostelu Helvetia and through the portals where the facility is offered.Bookings made directly must be guaranteed by paying a 30-50-100% deposit of the total booking price within three days from the date of the booking. In case of changes in the booking, Guest’s no-show or cancellation, the deposit shall not be refunded.Telephone booking requires further confirmation by an e-mail or text message in the time specified.
  3. CHECK-IN
    The basis for the check-in at the apartment is presenting by Guest an identity document, signing the check-in form and paying the whole amount for the stay.Reception opening hours: 24h, 7 days a week. By signing the check-in form, Guest undertakes to rent the room for specified dates, for a specified price, and thus to pay for the entire dec-lared period of stay at the time of the check-in procedure. Hostelu Helvetia reserves the right to refuse to accept Guest who: does not have a valid identity card, is not willing to present an identity card, refuses to sign the check-in form, is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, grossly violated the regulations of the facility during a previous stay. If Guest is refused the check-in for the aforementioned reasons, the deposit paid shall not be refunded.In case of prolonging the stay or purchasing additional services, the fee for these services will be added to Guest’s bill and must be paid immediately.In case of unpredictable circumstances, the consequences of which cannot be remedied immediately with ordinary means, Hostelu Helvetia reserves the right to offer a replacement facility, similar to the facility originally booked.
  4. HOTEL DAYR
    ooms in the facility are rented for days.The hotel day in the apartment starts at 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and lasts until 11:00 (noon) on the next day.Based on the current availability of the apartments, early check-in is possible after consulting the Reception of the facility. The service is sub-ject to an extra fee in the amount of PLN 20 per each hour.The wish to extend the stay after the period of time specified in the booking should be reported at +48 517884785 before 10:00 am or at the Reception of Hostelu Helvetia. The wish will be satisfied, subject to the apartments’ availability. The cost of each additional hour is PLN 20 PLN.Extending the stay in the apartment after 12:00 (noon) will be considered an extension of the hotel day, which will result in charging Guest with a fee equivalent to the half of the hotel day.Shortening the previously declared and paid-in period of stay will not result in a refund of the equivalent of the unused day.
  5. RULES OF THE USE OF APARTMENTS
    Guest is obliged to use the apartment in accordance with its intended use and to maintain and return the apartment in the same condition as found at the check-in.The number of persons staying in the facility may not be higher than that specified in the check-in form. Breaking this rule involves an ad-ditional fee of PLN 100 per person per day.Guest is not allowed to transfer the apartment to other persons, even if the period for which he or she paid the fee has not expired. Change of the name on the booking or person staying in the room must be agreed with the reception or the facility manager.When using air conditioning, windows and doors must be closed. The air conditioning must be switched off every time Guest leaves the apartment.After every 7 days of stay, the apartment is cleaned and towels and bed linen are changed. Additional cleaning and bed linen replacement is charged PLN 100 for each service and must be agreed and paid at the reception.Smoking in the apartment is prohibited. In case of failing to comply with this rule, Guest will be charged a financial penalty of PLN 500.Organizing social events in the apartment is strictly prohibited.Behaviour of Guests and persons using the facility’s services should not interfere with the stay of other Guests.Persons who are not checked in can stay in the apartment between 07:00 am and 10:00 pm. Staying of a person who is not checked in after
    10:00 pm is tantamount to the consent of the Checked-In Person for paid extra accommodation, at full prices valid on the day of the extra accommodation.For reasons of fire safety, it is forbidden to use heaters, irons and other electrical devices in the apartments that are not part of the room equipment. The above does not apply to chargers and power supplies of electronic devices and computer power supplies.In case of any defects found in the apartment, Guest is asked to report any irregularities as soon as possible within the Reception working hours at telephone no. +48 22 826 71 08 , which will enable the staff to react and improve the standard of services provided.Defects reported on weekdays will be rectified without undue delay, unless the nature of the defect determines a longer time of remedy. Defects reported on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be rectified on the first working day after the holiday period or as soon as possible. For defects caused by the fault of Guest, an adequate financial compensation will be charged.Breakdowns caused by reasons beyond the control of Hostelu Helvetia (supply of utilities, including the Internet, failures of equipment in the apartment), do not constitute grounds for cancellation of the booking or changing the price for the apartment booked. Guest is obliged to pay for the whole booking.In the event of a breakdown or defect or inability to assign the selected apartment for independent reasons Hostelu Helvetia reserves the right to change the booked apartment.In case of Guest fails to comply with this Rules and Regulations, Hostelu Helvetia he Checked-In Person with an appropriate penalty. Should this be the case, the fee paid for the stay shall not be refundable.
  6. CHECK-OUT
    Every time when leaving the apartment, Guests are required to turn off the lights, close all windows and lock the door to the apartment. Hostelu Helvetia shall not be liable for items left by Guests in the apartments. Personal belongings left in the apartment by departing Guest will be sent at his or her expense, to the address indicated by Guest. In case of not receiving such an instruction, the items will be stored by the facility for 1 month. After that time the items will be disposed of. During a longer stay, Guests in the apartments where fixed cleaning services are carried out at predetermined dates are asked to properly store and secure their valuables.
  7. LIABILITY
    In case any damage, excessive dirt of the apartment, towels, bed linen or traces of smoking in the apartment after Guest check-out is found, the facility reserves the right to charge the credit card provided when making the booking for the amount up to the full cost of repair/room dearomatization and losses incurred.Guest bears full financial responsibility for: loss of keys and any kinds of defects or damages to the equipment and technical appliances, incurred through the fault of Guest or that of their visitors.In case Guest fails to comply with the facility’s rules and regulations and the need to call the security arises, Guest will be charged with costs of such action.
  8. FINAL PROVISIONS
    By making a booking in Hostelu Helvetia, Guest agrees that his or her personal data will be stored in the database and processed for registra-tion and marketing purposes and placed in the company’s database in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29.08.1997 r. (Journal of Laws No. 101 of 2002, item 926, as amended). The Checked-In Person has the right to access his/her personal data.The valid version of the Rules and Regulations is the version drawn up in Polish.
